Aaron Mulaki is a health policy and systems research analyst. He brings to the Bureau 19 years’ collective experience in health systems strengthening, policy analysis and research, decentralization, public sector management, public finance, and governance in Africa. He has significant interests in how economic incentives, governance and political power influence developmental trajectories and outcomes. Aaron is a Health Policy Analysis Fellow, and a PhD candidate at the University of Cape Town. He is a regular reviewer for the Oxford academy journals- Health Policy and Planning as well as the International Journal of Health Planning and Management. Aaron also serves as a committee member for the Global Health Policy Forum. He is deeply passionate about good governance, equity and social justice.
