About ACB

About Africa Constituency Bureau

The Africa Bureau is comprised of 46 countries that are in either the Eastern and Southern Africa Constituency or the West and Central Africa Constituency, each of which holds a voting seat on the board of directors of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria. They are each represented by a board member and an alternate board member, and supported by a constituency focal point.

How We Work

For purposes of Board representation, the Global Fund has grouped stakeholders into twenty (20) constituencies with each constituency represented by a Board Member and an alternate Board Member. Ten constituencies are implementer constituencies and two of these two represent the 47 recipient countries in Africa, namely, the Eastern and Southern African (ESA) and West and Central Africa (WCA) constituencies
