CONSULTANCY OPPORTUNITY : ACB IS SEEKING FOR A GRAPHIC DESIGN CONSULTANT

The African Constituency Bureau (ACB) brings together the two African Constituencies represented at the Global Fund to fight HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (Global Fund). For purposes of Board representation, the Global Fund has grouped stakeholders into twenty (20) constituencies with each constituency represented by a Board Member and an alternate Board Member. Ten constituencies are implementer constituencies and two of these two represent the 47 recipient countries in Africa, namely, the Eastern and Southern African (ESA) and West and Central Africa (WCA) constituencies. The Bureau facilitates collaboration across the two constituencies and ensures that Africa’s voice is enhanced to influence Global Health policy decisions. We facilitate effective engagement, representation and participation of the two constituencies in Global Fund processes as well as enhancing their capacity to shape Global Fund policies and processes.

Under the Theme “Increasing ownership and Leadership of Global fund processes by African Constituencies’ Member Countries”, ACB has developed a Strategy for the period 2017-2022 that aims to “To attract, leverage and invest as many resources to end the three epidemics and support the attainment of the SDGs in Africa”. This mission can only be achieved if African Constituencies’ Member Countries have the capacity to lead and influence Global Fund decisions and processes.
